pluginONE 1.1 — Introducing Tempo Sync
pluginONE is about to take an important step forward.
Version 1.1 introduces a feature that significantly expands how the platform can be used: global tempo sync.
Until now, pluginONE has been a lightweight and immediate AU host designed to navigate, load and explore virtual instruments without opening a full DAW session. A fast environment to test sounds and build combinations in a focused, distraction-free way.
With tempo sync, the scenario changes.
Every active session can now run in perfect rhythmic alignment. Loops, internal sequencers, arpeggiators and tempo-based patterns automatically lock to the global tempo, allowing you to build coherent rhythmic structures directly inside pluginONE.
This is not just a technical upgrade.
It is a functional evolution.
Imagine loading a drum instrument with rhythmic loops, a synth with an internal sequencer, an arpeggiator, a piano and a texture generator. Everything can run in sync, without complex routing, without advanced configuration, without launching a full DAW session.
pluginONE becomes a real creative environment.
For composition, it allows you to sketch grooves, test layering ideas and explore rhythmic structures while maintaining temporal coherence between instruments.
For live performance, the impact is even stronger. Activating multiple tempo-synced instruments, controlling patterns in real time and building layered rhythmic textures makes pluginONE highly usable in performance contexts.
The philosophy remains the same: simplicity, immediacy, direct access to creativity.
But with version 1.1, pluginONE moves beyond exploration.
It becomes a tool for building.
The release will be available soon on the Apple Store.
