Introducing Performer: Play Instantly. Stay Creative. Find Your Voice.

A first look at the new creative environment coming to ONE Instrument® 1.3 and the upcoming Apple App Store release. Creativity often disappears in the space between an idea and the tools needed to capture it.

A melody appears for a few seconds. A rhythm starts taking shape. A sound suggests a new direction. Yet too often the creative process is interrupted by menus, settings, file management and endless searching.

Performer was designed to reduce that distance.

Coming with ONE Instrument® 1.3, Performer introduces a new creative environment focused on immediate interaction, fast experimentation and uninterrupted musical exploration. Rather than navigating multiple windows or jumping between disconnected workflows, creators can stay focused on what matters most: creating.

The goal behind Performer is simple: make it easier to move from inspiration to action.

At the center of the experience is the Browser, designed to provide fast access to sounds and creative resources without disrupting the flow of a session. Instead of spending valuable time searching through folders or external websites, creators can remain immersed in the creative process and quickly explore new sonic possibilities.

Performer also introduces the Layer Builder, allowing multiple sounds to be combined into rich, personalized instruments. Layering has always been one of the most powerful techniques for building unique textures and expressive performances, and Performer makes this process faster and more intuitive.

Another key addition is Tempo Sync. Rhythmic elements, synchronized content and compatible instruments can now stay aligned with the creative context, making experimentation more natural and immediate. Whether working on cinematic ideas, electronic sketches or evolving soundscapes, synchronization helps maintain momentum while exploring new directions.

Visual interaction also plays an important role inside Performer. The new Animation Selection system allows creators to customize the visual experience while performing and exploring sounds, creating a more engaging and inspiring environment that reflects the creative character of each session.

To ensure that no idea is lost, Performer includes an integrated Recorder. Musical ideas often appear unexpectedly and disappear just as quickly. The Recorder provides a simple way to capture performances, experiments and spontaneous moments as soon as they happen, helping creators preserve inspiration before it fades away.

Together, these elements form a creative workspace designed around immediacy. The objective is not to add complexity, but to remove friction. Every feature inside Performer has been developed with the same philosophy: helping creators spend less time managing tools and more time making music.

Performer represents an important step in the evolution of ONE Instrument®. As the platform continues to grow, our focus remains the same: simplifying access to sounds, instruments and creative resources while supporting a faster and more inspiring workflow for music creators.

ONE Instrument® 1.3 is also planned to become the first version released through the Apple App Store, marking another important milestone in the platform’s journey and helping make ONE Instrument® more accessible to creators across the Apple ecosystem.

This preview is only the beginning.
